Services

Boatshed: One of the best features of Pinetrees is our waterfront boat shed and deck. We're the only lodge on Lord Howe Island to have a waterfront position. The boat shed itself is a busy boat shed we store our outboard motors, surf boards, boat and various water craft there. We also have a warm shower and our famous honesty restrict fridge for guest refreshments. Our umbrellas produce chilly shade in the summer and there's perpetual sun in the winter. In the evening, maximum guests converge on the boat shed deck for sunset drinks, and sometimes canals. If our guests have been successful on their fishing trips, there might be some king fish or tuna sashimi to pass around as well. Tennis court: Our tennis court is available for guest use any time of day. Lounge: Our lounge is built on foundations that are over 100 years old and portion of the ingenious homestead. Our couches are really comfortable, and bear a flawless perch for some time with your book, the newspaper or any one of our vogue magazines. The lounge is also a hive of activity behind dessert when our plate of desirable cheeses and trimmings is available with tea and coffee. Laundry: Some guests travel to Lord Howe with very little, so it's essential for them to wash their clothes. We provide two washing machines and a dryer in our guest laundry for use at any time. Most parents keep a watchful eye on proceedings from the bar, and they're often amazed by how healthy their children eat in the company of other children. Behind dinner, kids can enjoy the freedom and safety that Lord Howe provides, or have an early night. Loved how the locals all waved as we trundled around their gorgeous island home, making us feel welcome. Shopping: There are two general stores at Lord Howe Island. Joys Shop sells most grocery items, fresh fruit, vegetables and souvenirs. Thompson Place sells grocery items, gifts, souvenirs and fishing gear. The Top Shop sells meat, fruit and vegetables. Art and craft: Kenny Lees is a vast local photographer and sell attractive prints. Health and beauty: Island Elegance offers hair and beauty services. Pinetrees provides Island airport transfers. We almost always go out in the mornings to collect the bread and the post and deliver the BBQ hampers. It's superior to book early as there are only 5 hire cars on the Island.
